Music and Community
In addition to performing, Karl enjoys bringing music to local communities "behind the scenes." From 2019 through 2023, Karl was one of two voting members of the student board of WestonArts, a highly active 501(c)(3) organization that promotes the arts in Weston, CT. Here, Karl spearheaded, directed, coordinated, and stage-managed a two-day music lineup for the two original Weston Fine Arts Festivals, which featured notable performers like José Feliciano, Chris Coogan, the Bar Car Band, and Teddy Goldstein. Following this accomplishment, Karl used this organizational experience for similar endeavors, putting together community music events such as the 2022 and 2023 Weston Red White and Blues Music Festival, the annual Spring Pop-Up Sale and Earth Day Celebration at the Norfield Grange, and weekly summer performances at the Weston Senior Center. Looking forward, Karl intends to take advantage of diverse musical opportunities to cultivate community.

Testimonials
"New Paradigm Theatre has had Karl perform a few times and have been impressed each time with his professionalism and talent. He is a lovely and creative soul who collaborates well and is a bonus for any event. Our Broadway performers were so wowed by his talent and his contribution to our shows and our audiences were equally as impressed. His skills are beyond his years, but more importantly his spirit and willingness to perform with others is outstanding. As a professional performer myself, I see great things ahead for this young man."
"Karl played at our biannual holiday party this past December. There were almost 100 people there and Karl's piano playing was - by far - the #1 highlight of the evening. Our guests were blown away. He arrived a little early, got himself set up at the piano, and played the most fantastic jazz and holiday music for over three hours. We have him on the calendar for our gathering two years from now! He is a star: a lovely, polite and extremely talented musician. We are lucky to have him!"
"Last year I hired Karl to play piano at a fundraising event for over 100 people. He set an upbeat and fun tone for the evening. Karl's talent, maturity, and professionalism exceed his years. I highly recommend this young man, and will be hiring him again for future events."
